The Delhi
Council of Science & Technology aims at playing a crucial role in the promotion of
Science & Technology in the country by supporting wide ranging Science & Technology activities in Delhi.These
activities would be ranging from promoting high-end science research and the
development of cutting edge technologies on one hand and to development of
appropriate skills and technologies on the other.
We need to cultivate scientific practices
for continuous monitoring of our dependence on natural resources . It is expected to
encourage public participation in the science activities aimed at the sustainable
development. These practices and the information coming
out have to be linked with sectional and regional mechanisms of science communication and promotion of science education in association with capacity building and participation in technology development processes.
